The MotorVac 200-8667 Intake Cleaning Pressure Sprayer is a professional tool designed for thorough cleaning of intake plenums and intake manifold runners. This convenient spray bottle is included with the CarbonClean 245 system and can be used as part of a CarbonClean service or on its own as part of a regular maintenance program.
The cleaning procedure utilizes the pressure sprayer along with MV4 detergent, whose specialized foaming action clings to the walls of the plenum and intake manifold runners. This clinging foam action is critical for effective cleaning, as it allows the detergent to remain in contact with contaminated surfaces long enough to safely dissolve stubborn gum and varnish buildup that restricts airflow and affects engine performance.
