WVA-001 Exhaust Cone

The MotorVac WVA-001 Exhaust Cone is an essential adapter for technicians performing exhaust system leak detection using smoke machines. This versatile cone adapter creates a secure seal at the tailpipe opening, enabling smoke to be introduced into the exhaust system to reveal leaks in manifolds, gaskets, catalytic converters, mufflers, pipes, and other exhaust components.

Constructed from durable EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) rubber, the exhaust cone provides excellent resistance to heat, weathering, and the harsh chemicals present in exhaust systems. The neoprene inlet hose offers additional flexibility and chemical resistance for long service life. The tapered design ranges from 1″ at the narrow end to 3.5″ at the wide end, accommodating a broad spectrum of tailpipe diameters from compact cars to larger trucks and SUVs.

The cone features a 3/8″ smoke channel that efficiently delivers smoke throughout the exhaust system while maintaining adequate backpressure for effective leak visualization. This design ensures smoke reaches all areas of the exhaust system, making even small leaks visible during testing.

The WVA-001 is included with the Vacutec Leakfinder WV608 smoke machine and is compatible with all MotorVac smoke testing equipment. It’s an indispensable tool for diagnosing exhaust leaks that cause noise, poor performance, or emissions failures.
